The Virginia Medical Arts Clinic was founded in 1999 by Arvin Chawla M.D. and Rajeev Khanna M.D. with the vision of creating a medical practice that treats every patient with dignity and first-rate care. The nurses and office staff at VMAC are highly-trained and exceptionally friendly. We understand that for many, visiting a doctor can be a stressful experience. Our comfortable surroundings and compassionate medical professionals will ease your fears.

                                   Arvin Chawla M.D.

Dr. Chawla is an Internal Medicine physician, in private group practice, focused on providing healthcare to the Adult and Senior population of Northern Virginia. Dr Chawla graduated from Panjab University Medical School in India in1985. He did post graduation in Internal Medicine and moved to USA in 1991. Dr Chawla completed his Internal Medicine Residency in 1994 in Maryland. He moved to Leesburg area in 1997 in association with Loudoun Hospital and is in private practice with Dr Khanna. Dr. Chawla's interests apart from the general issues of adult internal medicine are in the long-term management of chronic health problems such as Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Heart disease & Heart Failure, and Chronic Lung disease.
 He is an accomplished author with number of Medical Fiction Books in publication. He writes a weekly blog on day to day life.

 

Rajeev Khanna M.D.

Dr. Rajeev Khanna is Board certified Internal Medicine physician, in private group practice, focused on providing healthcare to the Adult and Senior population of Northern Virginia. He has been in pactice with Dr Chawla since 1999.

 

Dr Khanna graduated from Panjab University Medical School in India in1985. He did post graduation in Internal Medicine and postgraduate training in Neurology before moving to USA in 1992.

 

Dr Khanna completed his Internal Medicine Residency in 1994 in Maryland. He moved to North Dakota with St. Luke’s Hospital in 1995 for three years. 
 

Dr. Khanna's interests apart from the general issues of adult internal medicine are in the long-term management of chronic health problems such as Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Heart disease & Heart Failure, and Chronic Lung disease.
 

He is Former Chairman, Dept. of Medicine, at Reston Hospital .
